9.1

Valve system

The AV series valve system consists of a central bus coupler, which can be extended towards the
right to up to 64 valves and up to 32 associated electrical components (see the bus coupler system
description). Up to ten I/O modules may be connected on the left side. The unit can also be operated
without pneumatic components, i.e. with only a bus coupler and I/O modules, as a stand-alone
system.
The valve system consists of the components illustrated in Fig. 3, depending on the order:
