Battery maintenance

Service interval: Every 100 hours
1. Remove the filler cap (D). Fluid must be even with the split
ring full mark (A). If not, add distilled water. Reinstall the
cap (D).
2. First, disconnect the negative battery cable (F)
from the battery terminal (B). Second,
disconnect the positive battery cable (E) from
the battery terminal (C).
3. Remove the battery hold-down rods (H) and hold-down bar
(G). Remove battery from the engine compartment.
4. Clean the compartment with a solution of baking soda and
water. Clean the battery terminals (B and C) and cables (E
and F) with a wire brush and battery terminal cleaner until
shiny.
5. Reinstall the battery in the battery compartment. Secure
with the battery hold-down rods (H) and hold-down bar (G).
6. First, reconnect the positive battery cable (E)
to the positive battery terminal (C). Slide the
terminal cover (E) into place. Second,
reconnect the negative battery cable (F) to the
negative battery terminal (B).

Batteriets vedligeholdelse
Service interval: Efter hver 100 driftstimer
1. Fjern batteriets påfyldningsdæksel (D). Væsken skal flugte
med mærket for fuld i den delte cirkel (A). Hvis ikke,
efterfyldes med destilleret vand. Sæt dækslet (D) på
plads igen.
2. Tag først det negative kabel (F) af batteripolen
(B). Derefter tages det positive kabel (E) af
batteripolen (C).
3. Fjern trækstængerne (H) og bøjlen (G), der holder batteriet
fast.Tag batteriet ud af motorrummet.
4. Skrub batteribakken med en opløsning af soda og vand.
Rens batteripolerne (B og C) og kabelskoene (E og F) med
stålbørste og terminalrensemiddel, så de skinner.
5. Sæt batteriet på plads i batteribakken, og gør det fast med
trækstængerne (H) og bøjlen (G).
6. Montér først det positive kabel (E) på den
positive batteripol (C). Skub polhætten på (E)
ind over polen (C). Derefter monteres det
negative kabel (F) på den negative batteripol (B).
