Reason
The motor drive of the
cantilever is blocked. This
error could be the result,
when the movement of
the cantilever is obst-
ructed.
You moved the cantilever
manually.
The rod of the filter sys-
tem is blocked.
The Solution
If possible, shortly remove the kettle from the power
base for getting back to standby mode. Then unplug and
wait approx. 30 minutes. Thereafter, try again. When the
error persists, try to move the cantilever manually a little.
However, this measure should be an exception!
Before starting a program via the TEA button, always ensu-
re that there are no foreign objects in the path of the can-
tilever. Do not hold your hands and arms under the cantile-
ver. Exclusively use the dedicated filter system for operating
the appliance via automatic extraction (see: 'Properties of
Your New Tea Maker / Automatic Extraction').

Before installing the filter system, ensure that the pusher
of the filter system can be moved easily up and down.
The rod may not be blocked by any type of deposits. If
required, remove the obstacle. However, a slight resi-
stance may be tangible, when releasing the infuser cover
from the magnet holder. This is normal.
