The Solution
The actual temperature in the kettle must be at least 5°C
(9°F) lower than the set temperature. Press any button
for getting back to standby mode.
- Leave the kettle cool down a little, or
- slowly and carefully pour some cold water into the cen-
tre of the kettle, or
- increase the set temperature by 5°C (9°F).
Remove the kettle from the power base and leave the
kettle cool down (at least 30 minutes). Then fill an
appropriate amount of clear water into the kettle and
place the kettle onto the power base. Try again.
For operation, always ensure that a sufficient amount of
water is within the kettle (1cm or 1/2 inch above the
tip of the temperature probe; at least 250ml).
