3.2 Replacing return spring of switching
pedal
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Remove the cover (A) next to the pedal for turning the
clamping flange.
3. Unscrew the pin (B) under the plastic pedal.
4. Pull out the pedal (C).
5. Unscrew the two bolts (D) attaching the switching
pedal assembly.

6. Remove the entire switching mechanism (E) from the
machine without disconnecting the cables.
7. Remove the bolt (F) holding the spring (G) in position
by way of the sleeve (H).

8. Insert the new spring in both openings (I).
9. Tension the spring by turning it through 180°. When
doing so hold the spring with the sleeve (H).

10. Fit and tighten the bolt (F).
11. Re-insert the switching mechanism in the machine
and screw on.
12. Attach the pedal.
13. Attach the right cover.
14. Connect the power supply.
