Please follow the instructions in this manual to obtain the optimum
results from this unit. We also recommend that you keep this manual
handy for future reference.

Description of the Product

Installation into the vehicle
Make sure to follow the installation manual. The
installation shall only be done by trained
technicians. Please scan the QR code to get a
copy of the online installation manual. It has to
be ensured that the driver's field of view is not
obstructed after the installation by IVS-Slim, any
cables or other installation material.
Intended Use
IVS-Slim is a solution for Ride Sharing and Rental Car service providers
as described in https://bit.ly/3wsRvSw. It is intended for, and has been
validated for, installation and operation in street-legal passenger cars
with a rated voltage of 12V. IVS-Slim is not intended to detect vehicle
accidents, fire or act as an emergency device.
Foreseeable Misuse

IVS-Slim can be installed with any available adhesive or cables.

 Only use adhesives and connecting cables that came with the
product to avoid malfunction.
IVS-Slim is installed into a vehicle or serviced while driving.

 IVS-Slim may only be installed and serviced when vehicle is in park
and the surrounding allows safe handling and installation.

IVS-Slim can be mounted anywhere in the vehicle.

 IVS-Slim shall only be mounted in locations described in the
installation manual.

Safety Instructions

WARNING

 Do not install IVS-Slim in a way that it could interfere with any critical
vehicle function, for example, brakes, airbags, safety-belts, etc.
 Do not electrically connect IVS-Slim to existing vehicle safety systems,
for example Antilock brakes, Electronic Stability Control, etc.
 Do not obstruct the view of the driver.
CAUTION

mishandled, could result in moderate or minor personal injury, and/or
property damage.
 Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity or hot environments.
 Make sure no liquid or foreign bodies enter the inside of the device.
 Do not attempt to disassemble, repair or modify the device.
 Do not use when cable or device seems damaged.
 Do not cover ventilation openings.
