3.3 Replacing pedal assembly compo-
nents
If pedal assembly components are to be replaced, start
by disconnecting from the compressed air system, as the
pedals are connected to this.
Work on the pedal assembly may include replacement of
the springs (A), which tension the lever mechanism of
the pedal (B) and absorb the motion of this on machine
operation.

To replace the pedals (D), use an Allen key to unscrew
the pin (E) connecting the pedal to the lever mechanism.

3.4 Replacing vertical and horizontal
locking assembly
Proceed as follows if the horizontal locking cylinder (A)
and the vertical locking cylinder (B) are locked and not
released even on pressing the locking button (C):

1. Disconnect the compressed air supply hose (D) from
the horizontal locking cylinder (A).

If no air emerges:
 There is no air passing through the hose (D) inside
the column. Replace this hose.

If air emerges:
2. Re-connect the hose to the horizontal locking cylinder
(A). Disconnect the hose (E) at the vertical locking
cylinder (B).

If no air emerges:
 Replace the locking system valve (C).
¶
If air emerges:
3. Re-connect the hose (E) to the vertical locking cylinder
(B).
4. Check whether air emerges from both cylinders. Re-
place the cylinders if necessary.
