11. Machines with pneumatic rim mounting: Disconnect
the hose (M) for the pneumatic rim mounting attach-
ment beneath the gear unit. To do so detach the hose
clamp (N) connecting the hose to the valve.

12. Hold the motor (O) in the raised position and unscrew
the retaining nuts (P). Then set down the motor next
to the machine without disconnecting the power
supply.

! ATTENTION: To avoid damage and injury the motor
must always be held firmly when performing this
operation.

i Machines with pneumatic rim mounting: The IT valve
(Q) must be removed before removing the gear unit.
The IT valve is located beneath the gear unit and is
secured by a bracket (R).
i Oil may emerge when unscrewing the nuts (S) with
which the bracket (R) is secured.

13. Hold the gear unit (T) in the raised position. Unscrew
the retaining bolts (U) and the nuts. Remove the gear
unit from its seat.

! ATTENTION: The edges of the groove for the spring
(E) at the upper part of the gear unit are very sharp.
! ATTENTION: To avoid damage and injury the gear
unit must always be held firmly when performing this
operation.
