7. Electrical system
The integral electrical system has no fuse protection.
In the event of malfunctioning at the motor, switching
mechanism or 2-speed switch, proceed as follows to
check the machine:
1. Disconnect the machine from the mains.
2. Disconnect the cable lugs from the motor.
3. Insulate the cables to prevent short circuit.
4. Re-connect the machine to the mains.
5. Press the pedal to check whether there is still a pas-
sage of current.
6. If there is, despite the motor being disconnected, the
next step is to replace the switching mechanism or the
2-speed switch. If the fault persists, replace the motor.
Refer to circuit diagrams for motor replacement.
7.1 Electrical connection
The mains connector is to be connected by a qualified
electrician on setting up the machine. The type of mains
connector is designed for single-phase or three-phase
supply (optional) in accordance with the official regu-
lations.
Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the
voltage on the rating plate.
