Malfunctioning

Faults affecting operation of the

Tool column
Incorrect spacing between tool column unit and
edge of rim
Clamping plate / runways / clamping jaws
Clamping plate will not turn in any direction.
Clamping plate turns in counter-clockwise direction. Interchange the 2 phases in the mains connector.
Insufficient clamping plate

Unseating unit
The unseating unit does not exert enough unseat-
ing force.
Cylinder of unseating unit not functioning properly.
Tilting column / Racing mounting column with two positions
Column does not move properly on actuating

R Adjustment of horizontal sliding arm required (Section 6).
R Adjustment of vertical locking mechanism required (Section 6).
R Check the horizontal locking cylinder.
R Check the vertical locking cock.
R Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
R Check that the mains connector is properly plugged in.
R Check proper connection of the phases in the mains connector.

der if necessary.
R Adjust the corresponding valve at the pedal to obtain the desired column tilt-
ing speed.
