The ceramic surface should be free of any
impurities. For cleaning we recommend isopropyl
alcohol cleaner.
Calibrate before measurement of a reference
standard, or at least once a day.

Standard measurement

With the measurement of standards reference colours
are created. These can be stored on the device or PC.
When you turn on the sph xs1 the last selected standard
will be automatically load.
Open the "Measure" window
from the top menu level.

To display the results in different colour scales, press
the Navigation keys
Which colour scales are available can be selected in
the "Settings" – "Colour systems" - "Standard"
menu [see 6.7 Colour systems].
To leave the window and return to the "Measure" level,
press the "ESCAPE" key.
To continue and use the standard, press the "ENTER" key.
Each standard can be assigned an exclusive name.
This name can consist of up to
20 characters, digits or letters.
