4.9.1 45°/0° Probe head handling
Hold the probe head on the rubber part of the outer
sleeve. Place the probe head on the sample or a smaller
sample can be held against the probe head opening.
The scan can is triggered by slowly pushing this sleeve
downwards or by pressing the "ENTER"
from a PC using the ColorDaTra software.
The automatic probe head trigger can be switched off.
This is of advantageous when the probe head is to be
positioned before the measurement. When activated the
scan can be started using the "ENTER"
remotely from the PC.

pressing the button on the outside of the probe head
or by pressing the "ENTER"

For measuring very small samples ColorLite can

supply a support, which holds the probe head in a
vertical position. With this setup samples can be
placed on the probe head in front of the aperture
and scans remotely trigger. Also an attachment is
available with a v-block for measuring cylindrical
samples.
4.9.3 d/0° - 38 mm Probe head
For measuring inhomogeneous samples like for
example wooden surfaces the probe head can be
held in the hand. The scan can is triggered by
key or remotely
pressing the "ENTER"
PC using the ColorDaTra software. As an option a
d/0° probe head version is available with a button
integrated on the side to trigger the scans.
For measuring inhomogeneous powdery samples
