Calibration
First unscrew the white BAM standard and the black
reference.

Select "Calibration" in the menu of the device and follow
instructions. First place the probe head on the black
reference standard as can be seen on the display and then
press the Enter key.
Place the d/8° probe head on the
white surface of the BAM standard
and then press the „ENTER"-
key on the device.
The ceramic surface should be free of any impurities.
For cleaning we recommend isopropyl alcohol cleaner.
Calibrate before measurement of a reference
standard, or at least once a day.

The BAM-Standard has a white surface with a
diameter of 38 mm and is traceable to the normal of
the PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) in
Braunschweig and is delivered with a certificate from
the BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and
Testing) [see also 6.7 Colour systems].
Select "Calibration" in the menu of the device and
follow instructions.
