Die LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady wird gebrauchsfertig geliefert.
Technische Daten / Parameter, Zubehör
LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady ist eine Lumbalbandage zur muskulären Stabilisie-
rung und Aktivierung der unteren Rückenmuskulatur. Sie besteht aus einer anato-
misch formgestrickten Bandage mit Bauchverschluss und einer viskoelastischen
Noppenpelotte (Noppenpolster).
Hinweise zum Wiedereinsatz
LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady ist allein für Ihre Versorgung vorgesehen und wurde
speziell anhand Ihrer Maße ausgewählt. Geben Sie LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady
daher nicht an Dritte weiter.
Gewährleistung
Gewährleistung wird gemäß den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen sowie den Liefer- und
Vertragsbedingungen der Bauerfeind AG (AGB) gewährt, wenn alle in dieser Ge-
brauchsanweisung genannten Punkte eingehalten wurden.
Bei Reklamationen wenden Sie sich bitte ausschließlich an Ihr Fachgeschäft. Wir
weisen Sie darauf hin, dass nur gereinigte Ware bearbeitet werden kann.
Entsorgung
Sie können das Produkt entsprechend den nationalen gesetzlichen Vorschriften
entsorgen.

Introduction
Thank you for choosing a Bauerfeind product. LumboTrain® / LumboTrain Lady is a
high-quality medical product.
Please read through these instructions for use carefully and if you have any
questions contact your physician or medical retailer.
Intended use
LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady supports the back muscles and provides fast,
effective relief for back pain. The viscoelastic dotted pressure pad improves
circulation through massage. The knitted fabric of the support is anatomically
shaped, thus providing an exceptionally good t that feels comfortable to wear.
Please bear in mind that the support must be worn regularly to ensure the
treatment is successful. The latest scienti c studies show no indication that back

supports such as LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady cause muscle weakness.
LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady must be applied/ tted for the rst time by a
trained specialist , otherwise we cannot accept any liability for the product.

Indications
• Non-speci c low back pain (acute lumbar spine syndrome)
• Weakness and dysfunction of the torso-supporting muscles (slight degeneration/
muscular insuf ciency of the spine)
• Intervertebral disk surgery (discectomy)
• Conservative treatment following an intervertebral disk prolapse (conservative
after prolapse)
Risks of using this product
• LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady is a prescribed product that should be worn under
a physician's guidance. LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady should only be applied in
accordance with these instructions for use and for the listed areas of application.
• This product is intended for use by one patient only.
• Wear the product over a T-shirt or vest.
• No liability will be accepted for incorrect use of the product.
• No changes must be made to the product. Failure to comply with this requirement
may adversely affect product performance, thereby voiding any product liability.
• Should you notice any unusual changes (e.g. increased symptoms), please
contact your physician without delay.
• A combination with other products must be discussed beforehand with your
physician.
• The product's unique effect is produced primarily during physical activity. The
product should be removed during prolonged periods of rest (e.g. sleeping,
continuous sitting).
• Avoid contact with ointments, lotions or any substances including grease or
acids.
No side effects that affect the body as a whole have been reported to date. Correct
tting is required. Any medical aids – supports and orthoses
to the body can, if tightened excessively, lead to local pressure symptoms or, in rare
cases, constrict the underlying blood vessels or nerves.
Contraindications
No clinically signi cant hypersensitive reactions have been reported to date. If you
have any of the following conditions, such aids should only be tted and applied
after consultation with your physician:
1. Skin disorders/injuries in the affected part of the body, particularly if
in ammation is present. Likewise, any raised scars with swelling, redness, and
excessive heat build-up
2. Impaired sensation
3. Severe restriction of the performance of the heart and lungs (risk of a rise in
blood pressure if the aid is worn during intense physical exertion)
Application instructions
Applying the pad
Fasten the pad to the eece band in the back section of the support, taking the
anatomical contouring into account, so that the opening for the silicone dots runs
vertically down the center.
Applying the LumboTrain / LumboTrain Lady
1. Wrap the support around the body so that the pad (Fig. 1) is positioned in the
middle of the back.
2. Place your ngers in the nger pockets provided on the right and left of the
fastening and pull the support forward evenly (Fig. 2).
3. Press the left half of the fastening onto the abdomen and pull the right half
until it can be xed in place with a Velcro fastening (Fig. 3).
4. When fastening the support, remove your ngers from the left hand strap rst
and then from the right hand strap (Fig. 4).
