Instrument settings
This operation allows to plan the parameters that allow to use the
instrument on motorcycles with different characteristics (SM-TE).
1 - with instrument off to press MODE and maintain it pressed;
2 - turn the ignition key in position IGNITION, later around 7" will be
appare WS in the angle in low to Dx on the display;
3 - maintaining MODE pressed, to act on the passing command
activating and disactivating it for 5 times;
4 - disengaging MODE the "0001" (for SM model) code appare, fig. 3;
5 - shortly pressing MODE is underlined the code "0002" (for the TE
model) and subsequently the writing "cu" brought in fig. 4;
6 - identified the select code (0001 for SM and 0002 for TE), to press
MODE maintaining pressed it up to the appearance of WS to this point
disengaging MODE will be aapare the writing "Ln", that is the first one
some 5 previously inserted and not modifiable data values suitable in
fig. 5;
7 - to shortly press the key MODE to flow the visualizations with the
values: "Ln" = development wheel,
"di" = diameter rotates,
"SPEED" = n° impulseturn wheel,
"rpm" = n° impulse/turn engine,
"max" = out limit turns;
8 - to shortly press MODE to visualize the modality Km/h - Mph brought
in fig. 6, to press MODE and to maintain it pressed up to the
appearance of the horizontal bars. To the disengage an unity of flashing
measure will appear and only will be that active at that time es. Km/h,
shortly pressing MODE will be replaced by Mph. To confirm the
selection of the unity of select measure to press MODE and to maintain
presses it up to the appearance of WS;
9 - to shortly press MODE to visualize the modality of insertion lacking
times to the change oil brought in fig. 7 (13h for the first substitution), to
press MODE and maintain it pressed up to the appearance of the
horizontal bars, disengaging MODE will appare "0000" or the value
previously inserted with the first number of flashing left. Shortly pressing
MODE the number advances of one, allowing to flash for 2 seconds the
second left number will oscillate. Inserted the value to attend 2" up to the
disappearance of the number. Repeating the operation the inserted
number can be modified;
10 - to shortly press MODE to visualize the formality of insertion times or
Km for the coupon see fig. 8, to press MODE maintain it pressed up to
the appearance of the horizontal bars, to disengage the fig. 9 will
appare, shortly pressing MODE it alternates Km/h with CLK, to confirm
the selection of the unity of select measure to press MODE and
maintain it pressed up to the shortly appearance of WS in the angle in
low to the right, disengage to insert and to save the value with the same
formality described to the point 9. At the end of the operation will
reappare the fig. 8. shortly pressing MODE and the writing End will be
appare.
To go out of the setting to press MODE and maintain it pressed up to
the appearance of the horizontal bars, to disengage he activates the
initial check. The same result is obtained switching off and turning on the
instrument.
