Test ride the motorcycle checking all of the me-
chanical functions. Tighten all nuts, bolts, and mis-
cellaneous mounting hardware to the proper torque
specs. Confirm that all cables and wiring harnesses
are connected and routed correctly.
The GSX-R110OJ is equipped with Transistorized Point-
less Ignition and should not require adjusting. To in-
sure that the ignition advance unit is operating properly,
the timing should be checked at both the retarded (idle)
position (below 1500 r/min) and at full advance (above
2350 r/min) with strobe light.
After completing all of the servicing procedures and
the test ride. Carefully adjust the throttle stop
screw in or out so that the engine idles at 1 000 -
1 200 r/min.

Effectuer une conduite d'essai de la moto en verifiant
toutes les fonctions mecaniques. Serrer tous les ecrous,
boulons et autres pieces de montage aux couples de
serrage specifies.
S'assurer que tous les cables et tous les faisceaux de
cables sont correctement connectes et achemines.
La GSX-R1100J est equipee d'un allumage electronique sans
rupteurs qui ne devrait pas necessiter de reglage. Pour

Das Motorrad probefahren und dabei alle mechanischen
Funktionen uberprufen. Alle Muttern, Schrauben und
andere Befestigungskleinteile auf die vorgeschriebenen
Anzugsmomente festziehen.
Oberprufen, ob alle Leitungen und Verkabelungen richtig
abgebracht sind.
Das GSX-R1100J Modell ist mit einer kontaktlosen Transi-
storzundung ausgestaUet, bei der ein Einstellen nicht erfor-
derlich is!. Um zu uberprufen, ob der Zundversteller richtig
arbeitet, muB der Zundzeitpunkt einmal bei Spatzundung (im
Leerlauf, unter 1500 U/min) und dann bei voller Vorzundung
(Ober 2350 U/min) mit Stroboskoplampe uberpruft werden.
Nach Beendigung aller
Wartungsma~nahmen
und nach
der Probefahrt sorgfaltig die Drosselklappenanschlag-
schraube hinein- oder herausdrehen, bis der Motor im
Leerlauf mit 1 000 - 1 200 U/min lauft.
