Interfering Substances
No affect from bilirubin (20 mg/dl), cholesterol (500 mg/dl), creatinine
(30 mg/dl), triglycerides (1,500mg/dl), uric acid (20 mg/dl),
acetaminophen (20 mg/dl), ascorbic acid (3 mg/dl), dopamine
(13 mg/dl), ibuprofen (40 mg/dl), salicylate (50 mg/dl), tetracycline
(4mg/dl), tolazamide (100mg/dl) and tolbutamide (100 mg/dl) was
found.
Hemoglobin Variants
The Quo-Test A1C Test was found to be unaffected by labile
glycated hemoglobin and the following hemoglobin variants:
Hb AS, Hb AC, Hb AD, Hb AE, Hb AJ, Hb SS, Hb CC, Hb SC, and
elevated fetal hemoglobin (up to 6 %).
It is possible that other substances and/or factors not listed above
may interfere and cause false results.
