2.5 Hydraulic relief connection
To adjust the cutting bar to an uneven surface during
mowing, the force of the cutting bar onto the surface
must be reduced to 180 kg.
The relief is carried out with the hydraulic cylinders.
The cylinders may be attached to the tractor in two
ways.
If you are unable to achieve a 300 mm lift of the
cutting bar off the ground by using a quick hitch, you
must replace it with a tilting quick hitch.
If the recommended angle of installation of the
cylinders on the tractor framework is not achieved,
equip the latter accordingly.
Note:
If your tractor has the option of hydraulic relief of the
tractor arms, the hydraulic relief of the tractor does
not need to be installed. Set the relief level to 180 kg.

Nobody is allowed to stay between
tractor and machine when lifting or
lowering the hydraulics.
Centre attachment of the hydraulic relief:
– Replace the rim nut pin with the supplied pin (1).
– Fix the chain attachment holder (2) onto both sides
of the pin.
– Secure both sides of the pin with the supplied
guards (3).
– Using the tractor hydraulics, lift the mower to the
highest position.
– Open the hydraulic valve on the machine (4).
– Check if the cylinders can be attached to the centre
(if this attachment provides a sufficient angle).
– Pull the chains on the relief cylinders through the
holders and fix them into the groove.
– Fix the chains on both sides to allow the pistons of
the hydraulic cylinders to be extended from 130mm
to 160mm in the working position.
– Check the angle of both cylinders which should be
between 33º and 42º.
– If a suitable angle cannot be achieved, the
mounting should be done onto the side holders.
