5. Explanation of Symbols

The icon with the exclamation mark points out particular dangers associated with handling, function or operation.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.


6. Safety instructions

In case of damage caused by not complying with these safety instructions the guarantee will be rendered void. We will not assume any
responsibility for any resulting damages!
We do not accept any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by incorrect handling or failure to observe the safety
instructions. The guarantee is voided in these cases.
Normal wear and tear and accidents or damages caused by a crash (e.g. broken propeller or parts of the plane) are excluded from the guarantee
and warrantee.
Dear customer,
these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your own safety and that of other people. Therefore read this
chapter very carefully before taking the product into operation!
a) General Information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children and young people under the age of 14.
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• If you do not have sufficient knowledge yet as how to deal with remote-controlled models, please seek the advice of an experienced model sportsman or a
model construction club.
• Taking out a private liability insurance is recommended. If you already have one, get some information whether the operation of a model is covered by your
insurance.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children!
• Should any questions arise that are not answered with the help of this operating manual, contact our "Technical Advisory Service" (contact information see
chapter 1) or another expert.
The use and operation of remote control model airplanes has to be learned! If you have never controlled such a model, please read the chapters:
"Practical flying tips" and "Flying the model" and familiarize yourself first with the flying reactions of the model to the commands of the remote
control.
b) Before operation
• The part of the antenna that hangs out of the model must not be turned over towards the front and fastened to the model nor should it be cut off. The best
reception results are attained if the wire hangs loose from the model and is dragged during the flight.
• Make sure that no other models are operated within the range of the remote control on the same remote control channel (transmitter frequency). Otherwise,
you will lose the control over the remote controlled model! Always use different channels if you wish to operate simultaneously two or several models in the
immediate proximity of each other.
• Check the functional safety of your model and of the remote control system. Pay attention to visible damages such as broken plug-in connections or damaged
cables. All movable parts on the model have to be smooth running; however, there must be no tolerance in the bearing.
• Charge the flight battery, which is necessary for operation, as well as the rechargeable battery inserted in the remote control according to the instructions of the
manufacturer.
