k) Checking and setting the rudder linkage

First start running the transmitter then the model. If you push the rudder
control lever on the transmitter to the left, the back edge of the rudder (1)
has to deflect to the left (when seen from behind) by approx. 15 mm.
If the rudder flap deflects to the right, then use the servo reverse function
on the transmitter to invert the rotational direction of the rudder servo.
When you push the control lever on the transmitter towards the right, the
back edge of the rudder (1) must deflect approx. 15 mm towards the right
(seen from the rear).
If the control lever is not moved any more, the tail plane (2) and the
rudder flap (1) of the fin must form a straight line. In addition, the trim
lever (see figure 2, Pos.5) for the rudder function must be in the centre
position.
If the rudder flap slightly points towards the left or the right, you can adjust the length of the rudder linkage with precision by turning the clevis.
Once the linkage is perfectly adjusted, push the retaining ring (see figure 11, Pos.5) over the clevis in order to prevent it from jumping of.
