6.6.1.2 MOTOROLA Forward MSB format
For signals in the internal CANdb "MOTOROLA Forward
MSB" format, the stated "Startbit" is the position of the
most significant bit ("msb") of the measured value, and
the bit significance decreases to the right, as shown in
the example below.
The following applies to receiving data in the CAN
decoder: If the data type is signed, this is always
assumed in the "msb" and when receiving CAN mes
sages, is filled with 1 when right-shifting to the
intermediate value. If the "BitSequence" or "ModeBitSe
quence" element has the value "0", this decoding is used
