Switching Performances with a MIDI Foot Controller
Depending on the capabilities of your MIDI foot controller, we have prepared a couple of approaches to
select performances and slots via MIDI.
You can select any performance and rig directly via MIDI bank select and program change. The bank select
and program change numbers associated with any slot are displayed in the dark box, on the left hand side.
For example, slot 5 of performance 125 can be selected by choosing MIDI bank 5, followed by program
change 113.
Some foot controllers are not capable of sending MIDI bank select; however, you might still be able to use
MIDI control changes. We have added MIDI control change numbers to scroll up and down through the list
of performances and select one of the five slots within the actual performance. While setting up your per-
formance, using the left/right rig navigation buttons to move from one slot to the next, any adjustments of
parameters will remain until you leave the performance. When you are on stage, controlling performances
and slots via a MIDI controller, any parameter changes are treated as temporary and discarded as soon as
you load another slot. This way, your sounds always stay predictable while you are performing. For more
