Troubleshooting
Possible malfunctions are described as follows:
What is the fault?
 Cause of the fault.
Fault remedy.
Reference to corresponding chapter.
Pressing the ignition button produces no ignition spark at one or more burners.
 A plug contact in the ignition system has come loose.
Check that all plug contacts of the ignition system are secure.
 The battery contact is pushed in too far.
Make sure that the battery contact protrudes sufficiently.

 The battery is depleted.
Insert a new battery.

 The ignition system is defective.
Contact Flammkraft or a specialist company.
The ignition spark does not ignite the burner.
 The gas cylinder is screwed shut.
Unscrew and open the gas cylinder.
 The gas cylinder is empty.
Change the gas cylinder.

 The gas outlet nozzle is dirty.
Clean the gas outlet nozzle.
"6.5 Cleaning the burner" (page 74).
 The pressure reducer is defective.
Contact Flammkraft or a specialist company.
 An unsuitable pressure reducer was used in the appliance.
Make sure that a suitable pressure reducer is used.

The burner ignites, but goes out again when the gas regulator is released.
 The contact connection of the thermocouple is deficient.
Tighten the thermocouple contact.

 The thermocouple is defective or there is another fault.
Contact Flammkraft or a specialist company.
The output level drops or is weak.
 An unsuitable pressure reducer was used in the appliance.
Make sure that a suitable pressure reducer is used.

 A gas cylinder that is too small has been used.
Make sure that a suitable gas cylinder is used.
"1.1 Intended use" (page 44).
The burning process stops suddenly.
 The gas cylinder is empty.
Change the gas cylinder.

An individual burner goes out or does not burn constantly.
 A gust of wind has blown the burner out.
Close the gas regulator.
Stop the gas supply by screwing the gas cylinder closed.
Open the lid.
Wait 5 minutes before igniting the appliance again.
 The thermocouple monitoring of the burning process has been disrupted.
Carry out maintenance on the thermocouple.

 The burner is defective.
Contact Flammkraft or a specialist company.
 The gas outlet nozzle is blocked.
Carefully clean the gas outlet nozzle.
