6. Cleaning
6.1 Safety instructions for cleaning
 ATTENTION!
Risk of property damage due to improper cleaning!
Improper cleaning can damage the appliance. This chapter contains important
information for cleaning the appliance.
Read this chapter carefully.
Observe the safety instructions.
Carry out cleaning as described.
 To avoid grease fires, the drain plates and collection tray must be emptied and
cleaned after each use of the appliance.
 After extended periods out of use, the burner inlet openings must be checked
for blockages. Spiders and other insects can nest here and may cause life-
threatening fires and property damage.
 Only use suitable cleaning products. Sharp, corrosive or abrasive cleaning
products (e.g. scouring agents, scouring sponges, steel wool or citrus-based
cleaning products) are unsuitable and can cause damage to the surfaces and
markings.
 Only use stainless steel care products suitable for the food industry on the
stainless steel surfaces.
 Observe the instructions and information on the cleaning agents used.

6.2 Cleaning intervals
During cooking:
Splashes on the stainless steel frame can be wiped off directly with a damp cloth
to avoid burning.
After every use of the appliance:
"6.4 Cleaning the removable parts" (page 71).
6.3 Cleaning the enclosure
Clean the stainless steel surfaces of the enclosure with a damp, soft cloth
(e.g. microfibre).
To avoid rubbing marks, clean in the grinding direction of the stainless steel
surface.
