Safety instructions for use
WARNING!
Risk of fire and explosion due to improper use of the appliance!
Improper use of the appliance can result in death or serious injury. This chapter
contains important information for the safe use of the appliance.
Read this chapter carefully.
Observe the safety instructions.
Only use the appliance as described here.
To avoid hazards when using the appliance, observe the following requirements
at all times:
The appliance must be undamaged and in perfect condition.
Do not use flammable materials or liquids (e.g. methylated spirit, alcoholic
beverages) in the immediate vicinity of the appliance.
Do not store or deposit flammable materials or liquids in or on the appliance.
Do not store or deposit leftovers or waste in the appliance (e.g. in the front
drawer).
Do not store heavy items in the front drawer (e.g. Teppanyaki plate).
Children and pets must be supervised and kept away from the appliance.
The appliance shall only be operated with approved fuel.

The safety distances must be observed.

All screw connections of the gas connection must be tight.
"4. Leak test" (page 62).
The appliance must not be moved during use.
The appliance must be secured using the brakes and feet against sliding or
rolling away (stand alone unit only).
The appliance must be supervised.
The appliance must be operated exclusively without the burner cover and with
the burner crown raised.

The appliance gets very hot. Only touch the appliance in the areas in which
this is necessary and intended for operation.
To avoid contact with hot parts of the appliance, we recommend using
barbecue gloves when cooking.
Never lean over the appliance when igniting it or during use.
Protect the burner from moisture.

During cooking, only open the drawer until it is stopped by the catch.
Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before working in the
vicinity of explosive or highly flammable materials.
If you detect the smell of gas during use, the appliance must be taken out of
operation immediately.

Before first use:
Familiarise yourself with the appliance and work out what settings suit you
