7. Maintenance
7.1 Safety instructions for maintenance
 WARNING!
Danger due to a failure to observe the maintenance instructions!
Improper maintenance of the appliance can lead to serious injuries. This chapter
contains important information for the safe maintenance of the appliance.
Read this chapter carefully.
Observe the safety instructions.
Carry out maintenance as described.
It is essential to comply with the following requirements in order to avoid
hazards:
 Any defects found must always be rectified immediately.
 Only use spare parts manufactured or approved by Flammkraft.
Before carrying out any work on the appliance.
Make sure the appliance and other accessible parts have cooled down.
Wear work clothes and protective gloves.
Only use spare parts and accessories manufactured or approved by Flammkraft.

Components must be repaired by qualified personnel.
Contact Flammkraft or a specialist company in this regard.
7.2 Maintenance intervals
The following work must be carried out before every use of the appliance:
 Visual inspection of the appliance for damage.
Never operate a damaged appliance.
 Visual inspection of the hose assembly for damage or porosity.
A damaged or porous hose must be replaced before using the appliance.
 Mechanical test for tight screw connections on the gas system.
A loose, leaking screw connection on the gas system must be tightened
before using the appliance.

The following maintenance work must be carried out before the cooking season
arrives and after extended periods out of use:

The gas hose must be replaced every 5 years or after the specified service life
has expired.
