Let the appliance cool down.
Clean the appliance.
"6. Cleaning" (page 70).
Once the appliance has cooled down and is not in use:
Cover the appliance to protect it from the weather (e.g. with the Flammkraft
protective cover).
"10.2 Accessories" (page 81).
If the appliance is to go unused for an extended time:
Remove the gas cylinder.
Store the gas cylinder in a safe place.
"10.1 Storing gas cylinders" (page 81).
Pull the locking bolt to unlock the
handle.
Slide the handle to the left as far as
it will go.
The burner cover must fit snugly into the
worktop when lowered.
If the burner cover does not fit snugly
into the worktop when lowered:
Slide the handle to the right until it
clicks into place.
Line up the burner cover with the
worktop.
Pull the locking bolt to unlock the
handle.
Slide the handle to the left as far as
it will go.

Changing the gas cylinder
Insert the new gas cylinder.
"3.7 Connecting the gas cylinder" (page 60).
Open the front drawer beyond the
locking point (free-standing appliance
only).
"3.4 Setting up the stand-alone
unit" (page 51).
Make sure the gas cylinder is
closed and the gas supply has been
stopped.
Loosen the screw connection for the
pressure reducer. Observe the left-
hand thread.
Stand alone appliance
Remove the empty gas cylinder from
the appliance.
Built-in barbecue
Remove the empty gas cylinder
from its designated position in your
outdoor kitchen.
If necessary, attach appropriately
required safety caps to the gas
cylinder.
