Connecting the gas cylinder
 WARNING!
Risk of fire and explosion due to the fuel igniting!
Gas may escape if leaks occur during connection or if the gas hose is damaged.
Naked flames, candles, cigarettes, sparks or hot parts of the appliance can ignite
gas. This may result in explosions and severe burns.
Make sure the appliance is not connected near sources of ignition.
Make sure the connection location is well ventilated.
Make sure the gas hose does not come into contact with sharp objects or hot
parts of the burners.
Make sure the appliance is operated with the supplied pressure reducer.
Use only the gas hose that comes with the appliance. The maximal length of
the gas hose must not extend 1.5 m.
Make sure the gas hose is firmly connected.
Before connecting the pressure reducer:
Make sure that all connections and seals are present and undamaged. If the
rubber seals are missing or damaged, do not connect a gas cylinder.

Open the front drawer beyond the
locking point (free-standing appliance
only).
"3.4 Setting up the stand-alone
unit" (page 51).
Attach the gas hose to the appliance
and tighten until hand-tight. Note the
left-hand thread.
Carefully tighten the threaded
connection with a suitable tool.
Connect the gas hose to the pressure
reducer. Observe the left-hand thread.
Carefully tighten the screw
connection with the grate lifter or a
suitable tool.
Stand alone unit
Place the gas cylinder in the
designated position in the appliance.
Built-in barbecue
Place the gas cylinder in the
designated position in your outdoor
kitchen.
Align the gas cylinder parallel to the
front of the appliance.
