The motor spindle vibrates

Only use balanced tools.
Tool suitable for application?
Tool damaged?
Remove all dirt between tool cone and shaft.
See chapter
9 Maintenance
Compare the values of the motor spindle with the set values of the inverter.
Reduce load from operation (reduce feed rate or cutting depth).
Check screws on clamping bracket and tighten with appropriate torque (do not overtighten!)
Low stiffness of spindle clamping can lead to vibration.
Check design of clamping bracket.
If there is any visible damage, contact SycoTec Service.
Troubleshooting
Only use balanced tools.
Tool suitable for application?
Tool damaged?
Only use SycoTec clamping brackets or clamping brackets approved / doublechecked by
SycoTec.
Only tighten the screws on the clamping brackets manually according to the torque
specification.
Doublecheck tightening torque with SycoTec contact person.
Contact SycoTec Service.
Troubleshooting
Remove all dirt between tool cone and shaft.

Check connections for compressed air.
Check hoses for compressed air.
Check pneumatic circuit.
Check the compressed air settings for the tool change.
Check air pressure value direct at spindle entry (sometimes air pressure is way different
between machine entry and spindle air connector).
Troubleshooting
Check frequency inverter.
Check all electrical connections.
Check all lines in the motor cable.
Press the start/reset button.
Wait until the motor spindle has cooled down.
Check frequency inverter for error messages.
If no error message applied -> start the frequency inverter again.
Check error messages in the manual of the inverter.
Check whether the correct parameter data set is loaded in the inverter.
Deactivate tool change
Troubleshooting
Check the cooling capacity of the cooling unit.
Check the water level in the cooling unit.
Check connections and cooling hoses.
Check cooling circuit.
Check cooling unit for error messages.
Check all lines in the motor cable for broken wires.
Check the direction of rotation of the motor spindle.
Check the direction of rotation of the tool.
Check tool for damage.
Reduce the load intensity of the processing.
Compare the values of the motor spindle with the set values of the inverter.
Check the tightening torque for the spindle clamp.
Check the cooling function via the clamping brackets.
Check the size of the clamping brackets.
