Set the riving knife such that the distance between the riving knife and the
saw blade is a minimum of 3 mm but not more than 8 mm.
Never set the riving knife deeper than the tooth base height of the upper-
most saw tooth.
Set the riving knife to a max. 2 mm under the peak of the uppermost saw
tooth.
Tighten the screw on the riving knife again.
Close the protective cover again.
Ensure that you use the push rod (3) when cutting narrower workpieces,
with a distance between the saw blade (1) and the stop rail (2) of less than
120 mm..
Ensure that the push rod (1) is always close at hand in the clamps on the
stop rail.
