1 Position the object at the required distance and move it into the beam path of the
device (note the min. and max. ranges,
2 The sensing range is adjusted by pressing the single teach-in button (yellow LED
lights up).
NOTE
Note: The sensor automatically places the switching point in the object (teach-in offset
15 mm). Exception: When manually adjusting a mm value using an IO-Link, we recom‐
mend placing the switching point in the object.
NOTE
We recommend making the adjustments using an object with a low remission.
NOTICE
Do not operate the teach-in button using sharp objects.
