Instructions for laying concrete paving stones in accordance with standards
•
It is assumed that the concrete block laying units to be laid allow a standardized, uniform laying
pattern.
It is assumed that the concrete paving stones to be laid are provided with so-called spacers with a
•
thickness of at least 2.5 mm.
The installation of the ADV push-off device technology provides the optimum conditions for ensuring
•
that the individual blocks do not tilt during the laying process and that an additional small gap is created
between the individual blocks in the gripping direction during the laying process due to the support on
the upper edges of the blocks.
After the laying process, these additional, small joint gaps must not be removed by tapping them
together with a rubber mallet from the formation side.
After the laying process, the stones of the freshly laid stone layer must be driven slightly apart towards
the subgrade, preferably only with the shoes of the aligner.
This is the only way to achieve a standard joint of 3 to 5 mm!
If a hand-laying start is required before the start of a machine-laying surface, the grid dimensions of the
laying unit must be observed during hand-laying.

Adjusting the gripping width of the secondary tension (setting P) ensures that the individual blocks are
•
not pressed together in the gripping direction of the secondary tension, but have a small, additional gap
in the direction of the secondary tension.
After the laying process, these additional, small joint gaps must not be removed by tapping them
together with a rubber mallet from the face side.
This is the only way to achieve a standard-compliant joint of 3 to 5 mm!
If a manual laying start is required before the start of a machine laying surface, the grid dimensions of
the laying unit must be observed during manual laying.
