Replacing the clamping sleeve

Pre-conditions:
▪ Personnel qualification: Skilled worker
▪ Wear personal protective equipment
▪ The machine is switched off and protected against being switched on
again
▪ The machine and 5-axle clamp have cooled down
▪ Machine and 5-axle clamp are cleaned
Procedure:
1
1 Base jaw, clampable
2 Turning bolt (2x)
3 Threaded sleeve
1. Unscrew the spindle from the threaded sleeve.
2. Unscrew the two turning bolts from the clampable base jaw as far as
they will go.
NOTICE:
Threaded sleeve is unlocked.
3. Pull the threaded sleeve out of the clampable base jaw.
Ø The threaded sleeve is removed from the clampable base jaw.
4. Insert the new threaded sleeve flush into the clampable base jaw in the
correct position.
