Warnings & Precautions
Warnings Statement
Failure to properly follow the directions in this IFU may
result in patient injury or compromise the integrity of
the dental dam. Use the product only in accordance
with its intended use, see Intended Use.
Clean and sterilize clamps prior to use to reduce the risk
of cross contamination.
Inspect clamps prior to use for proper tension, dis-
tortion, wear, or damage. Discard distorted, worn or

cracked clamps. The life of the clamp is dependent
upon the number of uses and care taken during ap-
plication, cleaning and storage. Clamps are known to
break or become damaged after multiple uses or as a
result of over extension.
Precautions Statement
To reduce use error, ensure the forceps have properly
engaged the clamp prior to placing the clamp.
Inspect forceps prior to use. Discard distorted, worn or
cracked forceps.
Do not use Chemical Disinfection or Cold Sterilization
methods as these methods can cause premature failure
of the clamps.
Clamps are known to become dislodged or break while
CAUTION in use and can create a choking hazard. Safety litiga-
tion (dental floss) should be tied around the clamp to
reduce the risk of injury to the patient should the clamp
become dislodged or break.
