Iceross Pads
®
The device is a prosthetic interface intended to be used as part of
a system that replaces a missing lower limb.
The device can be used for prosthetic volume management to
temporarily accommodate lost distal end volume as well as to assess
distal contact while fitting a check socket.
Place the pad either in the distal end of the liner or in the distal end of
the socket.

Iceross Seal-In Socks
®
The device is intended to be used for accommodating residual limb
volume reduction.
If the patient experiences insecurity or decreased contact with the socket
due to volume fluctuations, one or more sock can be pulled over the liner
to restore socket fit.
Caution: If volume fluctuation cannot be adequately compensated for by
this means, the socket will need to be remade to suitably reduced
dimensions.
Pull the device over the liner until the distal end is level with the proximal
border of the topmost seal (Fig. 10).
Don the prosthesis as normal.
Caution: Loss of suspension may be encountered if a sock is placed over
the seal.
Machine wash at max 40°C with light-colored fabric. Do not tumble dry.
The Volume Compensation Sock is also recommended to accommodate
residual limb volume reduction. Refer to the instructions for use of the
Volume Compensation Sock for correct instructions.
REPORT OF SERIOUS INCIDENT
Any serious incident in relation to the device must be reported to the
manufacturer and relevant authorities.
DISPOSAL
The device and packaging must be disposed of in accordance with
respective local or national environmental regulations.
LIABILITY
Össur does not assume liability for the following:
• Device not maintained as instructed by the instructions for use.
• Device assembled with components from other manufacturers.
• Device used outside of recommended use condition, application, or
environment.
