8.5 Settings for automatic routine
descaling (DEC)
Deposits can accumulate on valves that are not used very often.
To prevent this, the heating valve is fully opened and closed
automatically once a week. With the factory setting, this occurs
every Saturday at 11:00. However, you have the option of chang-
ing the routine descaling time using the "DEC" function.
• Press and hold down the "Menu" button for four seconds.
• Use the handwheel to select the menu item "DEC".
• Confirm with OK.
• Select the day of the week for the routine descaling function.
• Confirm with OK.
• Use the handwheel to select the time for the routine descaling
function.
• Confirm your entry using the OK button.
8.6 Setting the position in the event of
actuator malfunctions (EPO)
If the valve actuator's batteries are almost empty, or if communi-
cation with the heating controller fails due to a wireless malfunc-
tion, the valve actuator approaches a set malfunction position
and remains there until the malfunction has been rectified. You
can use the "EPO" function to set individual positions for each
valve actuator.
• Press and hold down the "Menu" button for four seconds.
• Use the handwheel to select the menu item "EPO".
• Confirm with OK.
• Select the required valve actuator using the handwheel.
• Confirm with OK.
• Use the handwheel to select the required position to be ap-
proached in the event of a malfunction (0-99%).
• Confirm your entry using the OK button.
