protection function continues to run.
• Switch to manual mode (Manu) by pressing the "Menu" button.
• Turn the handwheel clockwise until "ON" appears on the
display. The heat pause function is now activated.
Frost protection operation (heating valve fully closed):
Select this operating mode if you do not want the room
concerned to be heated at all. The valve is closed and remains
in this position. It is only opened if there is a risk of frost
(temperature below 5°C). The weekly calcification protection
function continues to run.
• Switch to manual mode (Manu) by pressing the "Menu" button.
• Turn the handwheel anticlockwise until "OFF" appears on the
display. Frost protection operation is now activated.
To cancel the heat pause function or frost protection oper-
ation, use the "Menu" button to exit manual mode, or sim-
ply change the setpoint temperature using the handwheel.

Keypad lock/Child-proof lock (LOC)

To stop it being adjusted unintentionally, the device features a
lock function for the keypad and handwheel.
Activating the keypad lock:
• Briefly press the "Menu" and "OK" buttons simultaneously.
• "LOC" appears on the display. All operator functions are now
locked.
Cancelling the keypad lock:
• Press and hold down the "Menu" and "OK" buttons
simultaneously until "LOC" disappears from the display.
