Operation

7.1

Overview

In stand-alone operation (i.e. operation without a HomeMatic
central control unit), the wall thermostat has three operating
modes: automatic mode, manual mode and holiday/party mode.
If the heating controller is linked to a HomeMatic central control
unit, then central mode is also available. Use the menu button to
switch between the individual operating modes.
The display shows the time, date and the actual temperature
(Actual), alternating with the humidity level (%). As an alternative,
you can select a display mode in which the setpoint temperature
(Set) and humidity level (%) are shown alternately. You can then
use the OK button to briefly show the hidden temperature in
each case (setpoint temperature or actual temperature).
As soon as a HomeMatic component is taught-in, the antenna
symbol ( ) appears in order to indicate that radio reception is
present.
7.2

Operating modes: Auto, Manu, Holiday/Party, Cent

7.2.1 Automatic mode (Auto)

In automatic mode (Auto), the room temperature follows the
defined program for the day of the week. The temperature
pattern for the current day of the week is displayed on the
bar scale at the bottom of the display. The bar is shown
whenever the temperature is higher than or equal to the
comfort temperature.
