Assembling
1.
Prepare the valve with actuator (5) for assembly of the type RPC positioner, observing the operating instructions for the actuator
and valve (5).
2.
Place the spindle adapter (4) on the shaft of the type RPC positioner (1) and fasten it with 2 grub screws.
3.
Assemble the mounting brackets (2) to match the actuator (5). It consists of 4 parts, which are adapted to the actuator (5) by
different arrangement and then fixed with 4 fixing screws (3).
4.
Fasten the mounting bracket (2) to the type RPC positioner (1) with 4 fixing screws (3) and a torque of 2.5 Nm.
5.
Place type RPC positioner (1) with mounting bracket (2) on rotary actuator with valve preassembled (5) and fasten with 4 pcs.

6.
Establish the pneumatic connection between type RPC positioner (1) and rotary actuator with valve preassembled (5) according
to chapter "Pneumatic installation".
CAUTION!
Secure the screw connections!
Powerful forces or vibrations can cause screw connections to loosen. This may result in injury or property damage.
► The use of Loctite 290 is recommended for all screwed joints.
► Check screw joints regularly.
