• When the appliance door is opened, there is a
draught. Do not place baking paper loosely over
accessories as this may cause it to come into
contact with the heating elements and catch
fire. Always load it with ovenware.
Only cover the required area with baking paper;
it must not protrude over the accessories.
• Never open the appliance door in case of fire or
smoke in the cooking chamber.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the
mains plug or turn off the circuit breaker in the
fuse box.
Have the appliance checked by a certified elec-
trician after it has cooled down.
Causes of damage and functional impairment
• Make sure that all packaging material has been
removed before you switch on the appliance,
especially from the cooking chamber.
• Do not install the appliance in an environment
with high temperatures, near a gas cooker or
a paraffin cooker.
