Cooling fan
To prevent excessive heating of the built-in oven and heat
damage, a built-in fan generates an air flow that promotes the
escape of hot air from the oven through the front grilles (ventila-
tion openings) above the appliance door.
At the same time, the resulting air curtain between the control
panel and the appliance door prevents these two parts and the
components on them from overheating.
The air circulation generated prevents the formation of conden-
sation that can form on the electrical and mechanical compo-
nents under the influence of heat and humidity, thus contribut-
ing to their longer and more reliable operation.
The cooling fan operates depending on the temperature
and is controlled with the help of the temperature sensor.
It switches on when the temperature of the oven exceeds 85 °C
and switches off when it falls below 70 °C.
To allow the appliance to cool down more quickly after op-
eration, the cooling fan continues to run for a while after the
appliance door is closed, depending on the residual heat.
