Automatic cooking with core temperature sensor
To set a target cooking temperature so that the cooking pro-
cess stops automatically when this is reached, use the core
temperature sensor as follows:
• Open the cap of the connector in the upper left corner
of the cooking chamber, near the door opening
(See section properties and construction of the appliance /
Appliance components).
• Insert the metal tip of the probe into the middle of the food
or into the thickest part of the food, away from bones and
fat if possible.
Leave the probe tip in the food during the entire cooking
process.
• First proceed as described for manual cooking to set the
desired heating mode and cooking temperature without
confirming them.
The connection of the core temperature sensor is indicated
by the icon on the display, when calling up the settings.
Note: Time-based settings (cooking duration, end of
cooking time) are not possible when the core temperature
sensor is connected.
• Use the key to activate the temperature setting of the
core temperature sensor.
Note: When the
temperature sensor is deactivated (colour change of the
corresponding icon) and the display returns to the manual
settings
