Adjust the handlebar length using the release lever (Figure 26 Letter C). Once the handlebar height has
been adjusted, make sure that the lever (Figure 26 Letter C) blocks the sliding movement and that is
tightened securely (Figure 74).
Using the device with an incorrectly tightened lever (Figure 74) exposes the driver to the risk
of losing control of the vehicle.

11.2 HOW TO REMOVE THE HANDLEBAR WHEN THE TWIST IS STILL INSTALLED TO THE WHEELCHAIR

Make sure the Handlebar Control is switched off before disconnecting the handlebar from
the TWIST. An unintentional press on the accelerator would cause the TWIST to move.
Always perform this procedure with the brakes of the wheelchair engaged.
Make sure there are no other controls switched on when switching off the Handlebar Control.
After ensuring that the Handlebar Control is switched off, completely unscrew the fixing knob by turning it
anti-clockwise (Figure 75).
Raise the handlebar upwards and perpendicular to the steering system of the TWIST (Figure 76).
