Note
The joystick VCS0 does not need to be removed for the replacement of the rubber boot

Note
In the following the replacement of the rubber boot (3) on the standard version of the
joystick VCS0 with the knob (1) G41 is described.
Note
The spring (19) is only fitted to devices with deadman's function.
Preparatory work
1. Disconnect the system from the supply of electrical power.
2. If necessary, remove the joystick VCS0 see chapter 9. "Removal", page 79.
3. Remove the knob as per section "Removing knob", page 73
4. Remove the bush (13) and the insulating sleeve (12) from the stick (2).
Replacing rubber boot
1. Pull the faulty rubber boot (3) off the boot holder and remove the bush (17) from the old rubber
boot (3).
2. Fit the bush (17) to the new rubber boot (3) and pull the new rubber boot (3) over the stick (2).
