7.4. Replacing standard knob G41

Preparatory work
1. Disconnect the system from the supply of electrical power.
2. If necessary, remove the joystick VCS0 see chapter 9. "Removal", page 79.
Removing knob
1. Undo the fastening screw (11) on the knob (1).
2. Unscrew the top part of the knob (1.1).
3. Remove the shaft (18) and, if necessary, the spring (19) from the stick (2).
4. Undo the nut (14) in the bottom part of the knob (1.2) and remove the bottom part of the knob
(1.2) with the locking washer (15) and the perforated washer (16) from the stick (2).
Installing knob
1. Fit the new bottom part of the knob (1.2) to the stick (2).
2. Push the shaft (18) and, if necessary, the spring (19) back into the stick (2).
3. Re-fit the perforated washer (16), locking washer (15) and the nut (14) to stick (2) and tighten the
nut (14).
4. Screw the new top part of the knob (1.1) to the bottom part of the knob (1.2).
5. Secure the top part of the knob (1.1) using the fastening screw (11).
6. Undertake setup as per chapter 6. "Setup", page 70.
