Attention!
Make sure all cables are laid correctly without kinks or points where they can chafe.
Make sure the cable markers are not removed and mark new cables so they can be iden-
tified. Fasten together the cables using cable ties, if necessary. While laying cables, pay
attention to any bending radii specified by the manufacturer.

3. Transport, packaging and storage

3.1. Transport and packaging

Select suitable packaging if the device or components of the device are to be sent, e.g. for repair. Take
particular care to ensure the components are
protected against knocks, moisture and soiling. In this way you will prevent transport damage for which
the manufacturer will not accept any liability.

3.2. Storage

Attention, damage due to improper storage!!
Avoid excessively large temperature fluctuations because otherwise condensation will
form and may damage the device and its components.
Protect the device against the ingress of dirt and moisture as well as the effects of the
weather that could cause damage and premature aging of the device.
Store the device in a clean, dry place with stable ambient conditions and, if possible, in
the original packaging.
Unpacked devices must be covered so they are protected against dust and the weather.
Attention, aging of materials!
Materials can age due to extended storage; this aging will degrade the properties of the
materials (e.g. seals and plastics may become brittle).
The properties of lubricants can change due to extended storage.
Check the device for damage before use or installation. Do not install a device with visible
signs of damage due to aging.
