5.2. Electrical connection

Attention!
To prevent the contact elements (10) from being damaged and to ensure that the lines are
connected correctly, tighten the connection screws (10.3) of the contact elements (10)
with a tightening torque of 0.8 Nm.
Attention!
Make sure all cables are laid correctly without kinks or points where they can chafe.
Note
The electrical connection is made optionally via a screw terminal, a solder connection or
a connector.
Preparatory work
1. Disconnect the system from the supply of electrical power.
2. Open the installation space.

1. Make the electrical connection as per the related variant and the application.
2. Close the installation space.
3. Undertake setup on the joystick VCS0 as per chapter 6. "Setup", page 70.
