Connection is established
Once the User PIN or Owner Key has been entered, the LIVE page
will be shown (see "Viewing the gas readings", page 62). The
measured values are shown on this page. Further device settings are
also accessed from here.
5.4.4

Separating the connection

In general, the Bluetooth connection will remain active until the
following occurs:
– In the app, the user returns to the overview page. This process will
terminate the active Bluetooth connection to the X-node.
– The app is then terminated with a "force close" (closing in the App
Drawer of the respective operating system).
– The connection is interrupted as the X-node is then out of reach of
Bluetooth.
The X-node will not reconnect automatically after the connection
has been interrupted.
If the X-node is simultaneously connected via USB (with a charger
or PC), the User or Owner Level will not change, even when the
Bluetooth connection has been terminated in the interim.
5.4.5

Resetting the connection

If a Bluetooth connection has been established using a User PIN or
Owner Key, these keys will be saved to the app so there is no need to
enter them again when reconnecting. When resetting the device
connection, all connection information is deleted, which means one of
the keys will need to be entered again when reconnecting.
