General instructions for installation:
– Always install the X-node in the middle of a room or monitored
surroundings where there is little or no vibration in order to ensure
there is never any obstruction to the flow of gas.
– Do not install the X-node close to windows, doors or ventilation
systems where there could be unusually large currents of air.
4.2

Assembly and commissioning

Insert a DrägerSensor before starting up the X-node. Compatible
sensors are listed in Section 3.3 Compatible sensors.
Prerequisites
– Only use sensors that have been removed from the container
immediately before setting up at the place of initial installation.

Device installation and commissioning
1. Remove the bayonet ring by rotating it in a clockwise direction.
2. Insert the sensor and rotate it carefully until the guide ridges are
aligned over each other.
