pot.
This method is particularly suitable for dishes with long cooking times.
Method 4
Quick steam release under running water
See Figure Q
If the escaping steam bothers you, you can also depressurise the pot under running water.
To do this, place the pot in the sink and run cold water over the side of the lid (not over the
lid handle and pressure regulator) until the cooking indicator has lowered completely.
Then press the control button lightly to release any remaining pressure. Release the button
as soon as no more steam escapes, then gently shake the pot and press the control button
again. Repeat this process until no more steam escapes. When the pot is depressurised,
the Euromatic lowers. The control button can now be pressed all the way down to open the
pot.
8. Cleaning & care

Cleaning

Clean the pressure cooker after each use.
• Remove the sealing ring from the lid and rinse by hand.
• Remove the pressure regulator and wipe it with a damp cloth.
• Remove the lid handle and rinse under running water.
• The pot, lid (without sealing ring, pressure regulator and lid handle) and inserts can
also be cleaned in the dishwasher
Please note:
• To clean, use hot rinsing water with normal dish liquid and a pot sponge or soft brush.
Please avoid pointy, rough or sharp objects. You can also use the scrubber side of a
sponge if the inside and base of the cookware is very dirty.
• Do not let food residues dry and do not keep food in the pot for a long time, as this can
cause stains on the stainless steel and changes to the surface.
• To preserve the stainless steel surface, use a stainless steel care product regularly. This
will remove white spots, tarnish and any built-up film.
• When cleaning in the dishwasher, only use household products in the dosage
recommended by the manufacturer, do not use industrial detergents or highly
concentrated cleaners.

Storage

The sealing ring should be stored in a clean, dry and dark (protected from sunlight and UV
radiation) place.
To protect the sealing ring and avoid crushing it, place the lid upside down on the pot after
cleaning.
9. Maintenance & spare parts
Caution:
Wear parts such as the sealing ring and other rubber parts must be replaced
regularly, i.e. after a maximum of 400 cooking processes or after 2 years at the
latest, with original Fissler spare parts. Parts that show visible damage (e.g.
hardening, cracks, discolouration or deformation) or that do not fit correctly must
also be replaced immediately.Failure to do so will impair the function and safety
of your pressure cooker.
If you have any questions, please contact our customer service or the staff
at your specialist retailer.
